22 years to accomplish what?

Today is my birthday ^_^. I have turned 22 meow :D. Cuz I’m so awesome xD. LMAO.

aside from that… I was just thinking back on my life randomly, as we always do on our birthdays.. so… here’s a random list of things I’ve accomplished in these 22 years of my life xD.

Since January 25th, 1990:

-Committed stoner for the past 9 years now. OH MARY JANE <3.
-Been to over 7 different counties, 5 continents.
-After 7 years of vocals can confidently sing, shout, scream, & rap :).
-Have been in a common-law marriage.
-Rode a camel in Tunisia.
-Have been madly in love.
-Learned how to take a heartbreak.
-Lost my virginity.
-Experienced pregnancy scares.
-Learned how to last longer than 2 and a half minutes in bed (lmao).
-Learned who I am.
-Read countless books on spirituality, esoterics, & the occult.
-Partied hard enough to make Kurt Cobain’s corpse stick a thumb up.
-Tried almost every drug in the book.
-Got addicted.
-Got clean.
-Have had alcohol poisoning twice.
-Finally quit drinking alcohol permanently.
-Have dropped more acid than Hofmann ;D
-Broken through hyperspace on DMT just over a dozen times.
-Saw god, figured out life, and got to witness the reincarnation process (all in the same DMT trip).
-Spent countless nights wishing I could fall asleep when I had insomnia.
-Got physically and emotionally abused for a year and a half. (had a scar to show for it)
-Felt what apathy truly feels like.
-Fell deeply in to depression, more than once.
-Tried to commit suicide three times. Failed, obviously lol.
-Have found myself in the middle of more than one psychotic break.
-Experienced what it’s like to be the most hated & made fun of kid in his high school.
-Been on stage as a frontman of a band.
-Sold drugs.
-Experienced popularity.
-Got to taste ego-death on more than one occasion.
-Figured out what love & compassion truly are.
-Found what it truly means to be happy.
-Changed lives.
-Celebrated my 22nd birthday without any regrets.

Maybe I could have done things better, easier, whatever… But who gives a fuck? If there’s one single thing that I’ve learned in these short 22 years it’s that the past is just a big lesson, a beautiful lesson at that, ment to teach us nothing more and nothing less than love & compassion. The only thing we can do is look to make a better future.
